Casino Glossary

At Pinnacle Sports, we are committed to making your online gaming experience as easy and enjoyable as possible. With this in mind, we have compiled a casino glossary of the unique terms and definitions commonly used in casinos around the world today for information purposes only.

Please note that in the unlikely event of there being a discrepancy between the listed definition in the glossary and the Pinnacle House Rules, the English language version of the Pinnacle House Rules will be deemed to be correct.

Baccarat - Card game where players back one of three options - ‘player’, ‘banker’ or ‘tie’ - with the aim of getting a hand total of nine.

Banker - The dealer in Blackjack, or the house in any other table games.

Deal - Dispense cards to players.

Doubling-Down - In Blackjack the player has the option to double their original bet after the two card deal, but receiving one card only; the option is normally taken with a hand total of eleven.

European Roulette - Features a wheel with the numbers 1-36 and 0 (zero)
